Washburn's Boat Yard was founded by Chris and Eve Washburn in 1988 after they returned from a two-year cruise aboard their Krogen 42. Prior to the cruise Chris owned and operated a boat yard in Annapolis located at the old Trumpy Yacht property.
Washburn's is a full service yard staffed with career professionals in all departments. Our technicians have earned certification from the American Boat and Yacht Council, American Boat Builders and Repairers Association, Mercruiser, Volvo, Volvo Penta, Cruisair, Sea Land, Naiad and Northern Lights.
We are firm believers in continuing education for our team. Our showroom wall is testimony to our commitment to our team and to delivering consistent quality to our customers.
We are located in historic Solomons on Maryland's western shore, mid-way down the Chesapeake. There is a minimum depth of 11' from the Atlantic to our docks. We are a little over an hour's drive from BWI and National Airports and our local St. Mary's airport with a 4150' runway can accommodate most private aircraft.
